We bring deep technical knowledge in all manner of design and simulation software including Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, and Unity 3D, as well as custom development using C#, Python, and JavaScript, with a particular strength in Rhino APIs (RhinoCommon, Grasshopper). Our skill set extends to real-time simulation and integrating AI/ML-enhanced workflows to solve complex design challenges. We also have experience with overseeing and managing custom solutions, and advising on digital transformation.
At Spline, Sean provides computational design services to artists, designers, fabricators, and engineers. He brings a diverse toolset from his background in software development, architecture, and parametric design research. Past experience includes University of Toronto Acoustics Research Group, Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, MESH Consultants, and Metafold 3D.
Educated at McGill University (B.Sc, Mathematics and Biology), Dalhousie University (BEDS, Architecture), and University of Toronto (M.Arch), his thesis research focused on realtime multimodal simulation for architectural design.
